Dancing in squares and gardens!
The route is about 3 km long, lasts about 80 minutes and is of moderate difficulty.

Following it you will meet some of the cultural associations that are active in the old town of Xanthi and have dance groups and rich cultural activity throughout the year!

It will also accompany you to public places and squares, where small feasts are set up during the Old Town Festivals, so it is advisable to follow it in late August-early September. It will also accompany you to mansion gardens or amphitheatrical spots, where you can rest your gaze, while admiring the natural environment within the urban landscape or the beautiful panoramic view of the city and the plain of Xanthi!

27. Leontaridis Mansion – P.A.S. "Antikas"

Brief documentation:

The building was built in the early 20th century by Konstantinos Leontaridis and was used as his family's residence. Throughout the 20th century it maintained its function as a residence. From the first years of the 2000s the building started operating as a night club. Since March 2017, the Cultural and Athletic Association (PAS) "Antikas" has been housed there, with various activities.
It is an imposing two-storey mansion of urban character. The architectural style of the building is influenced by neoclassicism, while its exterior is decorated with false pillars with horizontal grooves, false capitals, pedimented decorations above the windows, as well as a decorative cornice between the first and second floor. Above the arched entrance of the building there is a large arched skylight, which is covered by ornate ironwork. Similar ironwork is found in the windows of the semi-basement. On the first floor of the building above the main entrance there is an extension of a part of the interior, which is constructed according to Western European standards of erker. The underside of this extension (erker) is decorated with an elaborate painting.
